V'air Hong Kong is a not-for-profit organisation aiming to promote local tourism and carbon literacy among Hongkongers. As an environmental education organization running a media business, we believe that aesthetics is a key selling point, not only that we could stand out against traditional media, but to create a lifestyle that our audience would like to adopt. Inspired by origami birds and planes representing air and hope, the V'air logo adopted a material design style and conveyed the identity clearly and effectively.
The website is a key component of the organisation's business. We developed a dynamic website that includes a local attraction database, an education blog portal and other information about the organisation. A website needs to be stunning in visual aesthetics, especially when it is about sustainable travelling. We want to create a relaxed, fresh experience for the visitors, starting from searching where to go during the weekend, to reading the story behind the place and exploring themselves. The aesthetic of the website successfully becomes a vital asset of the organisation.
